This car is still a project!!!
so don’t look for a show car shine just yet. Just wanted to share what has been done so far to this 1 gen. machine. Kinda a shout out to any other readers who have one of these things and has no clue where to start modding it from.
Suspension- Upgrade Motoring torsion bars, Suspension Tech. front and rear sway bars, Custom caster camber plates, Ground Control coil overs with 350lb. springs ride on Tokico whites 5 way adj. shocks, Custom adjustable pan-hard bar, Full polly bushing swap, Cusco front and rear strut tower brace, Custom built Kirk 6-point bolt in cage.
Motor- is a "hydra" hybrid D15 block with a D16a1 head on it. Eagle rods and JE pistons push for 13.5:1 comp. ratio. Balanced crank as well as all other internals hang on APR studs. Full port polish head with custom ground Crower cams flow through a port matched stock intake and DC sports exhaust manifold. The power is put down through a custom built 6-puck non-sprung center damper clutch with lightened flywheel and all balanced. Then to a stock D15 tranny with an original and very real Mugen LSD.
