This car was givin to me, by my mother in-law, as a write off in Dec of 2003. She bought it new in 95. It was an automatic, CX.
It was repaired that spring. The WingsWest body kit and wrap around rear wing was installed and it was custom painted with a pearl coat and bronze flames over the original blue/green. And changed to a 5 speed.
That year (a day from the anniversary of when it was writen off the year before) I hit a dear with it on the highway. Back to the bodyshop. (The next year I parked it that week.)
It was repainted again with new additions, the carbon fiber hood and rear roof wing. TYC headlights were installed.
I installed a turbo on the original 1.5lt (D15B7) in summer of 2005. I blew it up by that fall. (rod through the block).
So, I built a D16A6 SOHC for it with SRP 9.5:1 pistons, Eagle H-beam rods, High volume oil pump. Bored 0.020" over, decked, and balanced. The head was ported and polished with a 5 angle valve grind. Web Cams duel valve springs with titanium retainers, edelbrock performer x intake, edelbrock 65mm throttle body, Garret GT28RS ballbearing turbo, Turbonetics wastegate and Blowoff valve, MSD ignition, Custom made 2 1/2" exhaust, exhaust manifold and intercooler piping (By me), Magnaflow muffler, front mount intercooler, AEM fuel rail, filter, and regulator, High volume fuel pump, Russell fuel line, RC 550 injectors, ACT flywheel and clutch, Unorthodox underdrive pulley set, Hasport motor mounts, Hondata S300 ECU,(Tuned By AFI Performance in Edmonton, AB, CA), Putting out 248 WHP at 226 ft lbs torque.
Autometer Sport comp gauges. B&M short through shifter, Sparco torino 2 seats, Sparco Faster steering wheel and Sparco pedals, Clarion in dash DVD and rear sreen was added to the interior. The suspension was upgraded to Tein SS coilovers, Eibach front and rear sway bars. SPC rear upper and lower adjustable control arms, Various tie bars and strut bars, Polyurethane bushings, The rear drum brakes were converted to disc and Brembo (stock replacment) rotors installed all around.
The car was running the spring of 2007 and has won first place in three major car shows for Edmonton area since. It's a daily driver.  
Next on the list is a Kaaz LSD, Nitrous, and a brake upgade. Posibly some ICE upgrades (allthough, I rather the performance end of things).
And I enjoy being the underdog.
