There is such a thing as a B15 Honda motor. Although it is not DOHC. It came in the 1996 Honda City in Asia. It is an SOHC with 3 variants, B15A, B15B, and B15C. The B15C is SOHC with about the same power as a standard D series SOHC VTEC.

BUT........

hakcivecex1998 listing his car as a B15 with 190 HP is HIGHLY unlikely.

And no there isnt a motor called a "b15". The lowest litre B seires motor is the B16. The D seires is the only motor thats a 1.5L that would fit and run in your civic

I think the best thing you could do to this car is take it and get it crushed, quit being a ricer and mod your car correctly. People like you give real honda guys a bad name

If this car indeed has a B15 (B as in Bravo, 1.5L), then a picture needs to be taken of the engine block stamp and posted on this profile. If so then that motor is the rarest of the B series engines anywhere in the world.

Electric supercharger?!?!?!?!? That worthless piece of *** contraption that is advertised in the back pages of car magazines? Gimme a break.

The only superchargers out there for Civics and Integras that mean anything are Jackson Racing and Vortech.

In fact it is a B15 in the car. The original owner of it's motor blown w/ his supercharger, so he got a swap with a b15. The guy who owns it now... this guy... not to sure about.. Car was never drove in winter and he did that =/ and he put an AMAZING electric super charger in.. lol.. I love when he flys past my house doing 6k RPM.. That car was pretty sweet driving.. but oh well..

okay man i have the same car only i have a d16 yea its not even a b series but yea my car pushs wat yours is in 3rd and all i have is headers, and cool air intake... but to make yours faster maybe try a turbo if you dont got that much cash then try the new cam maybe even ket it bored over a lil but to do that your going to have to get new pistons but it will do tons of good well i hope you get it together cause its a nice car and good luck

For starters..............learn the proper terminology and nomenclature of the items on your car.

VTEC = Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control. Vtech is a brand of cordless phone.

B15 = 1.5L DOHC VTEC motor. These motors exist and are EXTREMELY rare and only are in Japan. B16A and B18C are the most common B series DOHC motors.

YOU............have a D16 (as in "delta") 1.6L SOHC VTEC in your 1998 EX.

You have a nice car . To startu can start with a bigger throttle body amd mass air flow sensor bigger injectors a port and polish and while u have the head off u should go with a bigger cam. to get ur camber better u can raise ur coil overs the lower the car the more camber u get.most coilovers are ajustable from 1 inch - 4 inchs and the way ur car is lookin urs is set to the lowest height u might want to get new camber kits.i hope that helps
